How to use Netflix when you are deaf
Netflix is a brilliant service, available on many different devices, computers, phones, tablets, smart TVs and game consoles.
It costs £5.99 a month and it has a pretty good collection of films and series. It doesnt have the very latest however which is a shame. It does provide a growing number of subtitled content with a promise of 80% end of 2013 and 100% end of 2014. They are worth paying for and supporting.
At the moment the only way to get a list of subtitled content is use the website on a computer and enter subtitles in search. It doesnt appear to work on the other devices.
However it now seems that about more than half the time you will find something when browsing it got subtitles anyway.
So support this service. It worth it.
BSKYB - The end
Last day of Sky TV. Had enough of paying high prices and not getting What I'm paying for. No subtitles On their On Demand Services Or Sky Apps.

Happy New Year!
Whoa been a busy few months for me. Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas 2011.
A few things have been worth reporting in my life. One of the recent ones is BSkyB. I emailed them a complaint over them requiring you to have either Sky Sports or Sky HD in order to watch their Formula One channel. I didn't have either and felt that the £10.25 per month charge for HD was unfair as I don't have the full package. It should be pro-rata. There was a guy called Gordon who was brilliant keeping touching using just email and rang my fiance when something was more urgent. Brilliant service and good deal.
RNID now been renamed to Action on Hearing, totally changed now and more modern. Good luck to them.
I was disappointed with my usual hospital waiting time for an appointment with my hearing aids. Two weeks! Clearly they need stop accepting too many two patients until they have the staff to see them all.
Orange Broadband were really annoying at one stage, ringing me up about Orange Broadband even after I asked if they can match my high speed fibre optic connection (which they can't) but still tried calling back to see me their 6 times lower standard broadband package. It took after the 6 time a huge shout and swearing down the phone before they finally stopped. My partner spoke to them everything until I grabbed the handset and let rip at them, big bonus, I can't hear what they say back hehe.
Anyway that's a few stories. Onwards to the new year 2012!
